The course offers a quick learning experience, providing foundational knowledge of laser safety and its importance. It is a great starting point for anyone in the dental field, especially for Cosmodentofacial Academy members, to help them implement safety procedures for lasers in dental treatments. The guidelines aim to safeguard the health and safety of patients, the dental team, and the environment. In this course, you will learn about essential laser safety practices, the role of the Laser Safety Officer, and the additional training needed to maintain safety standards in a dental office.
The completion of this course will equip you with a solid understanding of laser safety in dental environments.

This course is a primer for anyone working in a dental office. No previous laser experience is required. An appendix containing a glossary of laser-related terms is included in the course fee. It is recommended that participants also refer to the ANSI Z136.3-2018 American National Standard for Safe Use of Lasers in Healthcare, available from the Laser Institute of America.
